Pics and text (Norwegian) on www.terrengsykkel.no

Day number...whatever!

After a week at Scovel´s auto repair in Manzanita, we finally reached California. The engine runs much better now with no signs of increasing damage. Will be checking out the scenery,(and maybe some riding), in Redwood Forest today and tomorrow. After that we will be heading for Santa Barbara, with some short day-stops on whatever mountainbike-scene we might find on our way.
Yesterday, the editor of the Norwegian MTB magazine Terrengsykkel, posted the first part of our "travel reports" on the mag´s internet page. Check it out on www.terrengsykkel.no (it is the article currently on the top of the page.) The text is in Norwegian, but our new, english-speaking friends, might find it interesting to look at the pics.

P.s:
Thanks to the extremely generous Scovel-family. They fed us, offered parking, power hook-up and a huge discount on the repair. Thank you guys!! You made the whole breakdown worth it:)

I hear you guys stopped and rode King Range with Chris Clutton from Mendocino Coast Cyclists. I had planned on joining him there but found it compelling to cancel. I'm sorry I missed you. Enjoy your travels!

Thanks tim!

Riding with Chris was really cool. Downhillers like us shure have a thing or two to learn about climbing. Chris definently showed us! Impossible to keep up with him on the climbs.
Sorry you missed it. We are now enjoying perfect singletrack and DH in Flagstaff
